The magic of Loggins, Cross, Hall, Oates, McDonald, etc.

This is one of a series of videos that are a couple years old. Some of the vids are a little out there, but the fact that the series uses the term "Yacht Rock" deserves some serious credit. Ever wonder how the song "Rosanna" came to be? Well, of course you didn't, but, uh.... Just watch.

And if you liked it, here's the vid from the video.

I knew why he titled the song "Rosanna".

Did you ever see the film "Baby it's You"?
1983, John Sayles, starring Arquette and Vincent Spano. Fine film. Maybe Arquette's only fine performance.

That simply was NOT Harold Ramis!

Oh, and Arquette was in that film with Madge, "Desperately Seeking Susan"! Wow! That's another title, maybe the very first, that consists of a pronoun preceded by (two!) verbs! (i.e. "Becoming Julia", see J.T.'s previous postings/comments).

Now I know why XRT never plays Loggins and Messina's "Angry Eyes" anymore.

I thought the chord changes in Toto's "Africa" were really, really pretty.
