Here are my top 10 performances from the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, 4/25/08 - 4/27/08. I didn't see everyone I wanted to and neither did anyone else. Who the hell can do that at these festivals? They aren't designed for you to see everyone, but they are designed to give each concertgoer a unique experience. I once heard one of the Goldenvoice (creators of the festival) people say that one person's Coachella could be completely different from another's, and if that is the goal, then they score on one of those super rare, super awesome bicycle kicks. Here are my Top 10 performances from the acts that I did manage to catch at least 15 minutes of...Oh, and I tried to include some Youtube links to pieces of the actual performances, but they sometimes get taken down because of legal violations, so if you don't see the video by clicking the band's name, that's why.

I was poking around the XRT site, and found your blog. Thanks for finishing out my days in style.. it's always Lin and Mary Dixon in the morning, and you at night. I definitely felt the void when you were at Coachella.
I remember listening to Kraftwerk on vinyl, during, I think, 1980, '81.
